written 4/22/26 out of an interest in the church.

theres an old church beside my house. 
the lights are off during the day, and turned on at night.
an old yellow Chevrolet parked beside it
at night, theres a chime sound coming from it, which you can hear from a distance. as if it's radiating a sad holiness from it.
i asked a local about it, and they told me someone was living in there,
but didn't elaborate further. 
When i peek in through the window, no one seems to be inside.
but if no one is in there, how come the lights are on?
